  • At Miscou, the winters are very harsh on nature. Every year many trees die during winter. We must therefore take care of the flora. It is forbidden to break trees, branches or twigs. Please remove all rope, twine, etc. off trees.

  • Beach grass although being so small, plays an important role in protecting the shoreline and retaining the sand on the beach. It is thus forbidden to go down to the beach from your site. You must use the boardwalk.

  • Miscou Island is covered in peat moss, a product that is very flammable in dry weather. It is very important not to remove or change the fire rings. The maximum length of the fire wood is 45 cm (18 inches). Camping LaVague will advise you when authorities place fire restrictions.

Have a pleasurable stay here!
